Paul
was born in Toronto in 1975, and quickly learned that it was important to
draw things. He studied fine art at the University of Guelph, then returned
to Toronto to attend OCAD. His diploma in publishing design landed him some
plum jobs at Scholastic Books and Redwood Custom Communications, but he wasn't
drawing much, so he quit all that, became an illustrator and now he's much
happier. He gets to draw important things, like treeforts, cameras and sandwiches,
as well as the minutiae of life: subway trains and coffee cups. If you like
his work, by all means let him know. It will make his day.
